Sihanoukville Strengthens Health Measures for Safety Tourism

Preah Sihanouk: Preah Sihanouk Provincial Governor, Kouch Chamroeun says that they are strengthening the health measures for safety tourism as the country is now fully reopened. He says this is in line of the kingdom’s policy to promote Cambodia's internal tourism and can provide an opportunity to revitalise the tourism business. It is also a way to help restore the economy, society and the lives of traders and the general public to be better.

He says, “We have put in place administrative measures, health measures, in particular the capacity building of the medical team, the management of treatment, etc., as well as the latest important assessment of the conclusion that our country may be able to reopen its economy as a factor of effort.”

The governor has added that they have vaccinated more than 93% of their population. The vaccination has been successfully administered nationwide to all target groups which is a good move to return to normal life in a new way is part of the plan for the socio-economic recovery. The Royal Government of Cambodia will open to receive international tourists starting from 30 November starting in Sihanoukville, Koh Rong, and Darasakor of Koh Kong province.
